Tuna patties with fresh dill served with lemon cilantro rice. I am participating in Weekday Supper this week and I making a family favorite. Tuna patties that are super easy to make, and healthy! You can use fresh fish, but I just use canned tuna that has been packed in water. Convenient and easy for that quick weeknight meal. I mix the tuna with some cooked potato, spices and some fresh dill. I roll the patties in some almond meal and voila you have the yummiest tuna patties. You can bake or fry these babies but I usually shallow fry them in a little olive oil. The lemon rice I usually make with these patties is a light dish that complements the tuna patties perfectly. Try the two together and you’ll love this meal!

I love lemon in rice and it sounds perfect with these tuna patties!
I sometimes add nut and fruit to make it more festive, but plain lemon rice is great too. Easy to make! Thanks Cindy!
Nice recipe Sue! I’ve never thought to use potatoes in tuna patties. I really like the seasonings in the lemon rice. What a great way to make plain white rice so much better.
Thanks Renee, I’ve used sweet potatoes in patties, but beef patties. The rice is super simple and an easy way to dress up plain rice!
Yes to the lemon rice. It looks and sounds amazing. Same thing is of course true for your tuna dill patties – they look fantastic!
Such a clever idea to use potato along with the tun in these patties. Can’t wait to try these!
I am such a tuna girl….this is right up my alley!
