Homemade vitamin water is getting very popular! Ditch those pricey bottles and just dunk some fruit, veggies, herbs to create your own custom all natural vitamin water! You can’t beat the price and it tastes super fresh and delish! The possibilities of vitamin water combinations are endless and you can check out some of my favorites here! This summer I found a “ fat flush “ recipe for vitamin water which I modified with a few ingredients that I like and I’ve been sipping it all week. I went to Canada a few weeks back for a wedding where pigging out was on the agenda and if you’ve attended Indian weddings you know the festivities can last a week long!! Hence the need to detox after and this grapefruit infused vitamin water is perfect. Pink grapefruit laced with cucumber, lemon and green parsley taste refreshing and tangy! I love pink grapefruit so this recipe is a big win with me. Feel free to swap the grapefruit with tangerine if you like and the parsley with mint. Since all of the fruit veggies are dunked into water with skin intact, washing the fruits and veggies really well is extremely important! You don’t want to be ingesting pesticide and chemicals instead of vitamins. Use organic if possible or use my home made fruit/ veggie wash which costs cents to make! You can keep refilling the pitcher up to 48 hours so you actually get a lot of vitamin water with this recipe. It may get a little diluted as time goes by but it’s all good so Dunk and Drink UP!!
Why it works!
Grapefruit is loaded with Vitamin C and other ingredients that help your body turn fat into fuel! No wonder grapefruit is the number one dieter’s fruit! It also increases your sensitivity to Insulin thus stabilizing blood sugar and stimulated genes to burn fat! Cucumber and parsley are strong all natural diuretics which flush out bloat and water retention! Lemon is also a good diuretic and has been known for it’s detox, fat burning properties. A lot of our body weight especially after binge eating or salty sugary meals is water so losing up to 5 lbs. of water is common and feels good on the waistline! This is a great detox drink as well!

I love it, thank you for homemade tips and recipes! Would definitely try this one, would choose the cheaper and healthier option like this to freshen me up and this is a nice change from just plain water. I really need this, I’m still trying to find more recipes (I know there are tons on Pinterest), but I like to experiment combinations of fruits and herbs. I hope to see more recipes on your site, would definitely check back.
Picture shows limes? But ingredients says lemons? Which should it be?
Can’t eat grapefruit, what can I substitute in place of grapefruit?
Thanks for the strategies you have provided here. Moreover, I believe there are a few factors that really keep your car insurance premium decrease. One is, to think about buying cars and trucks that are from the good set of car insurance organizations. Cars that happen to be expensive are more at risk of being snatched. Aside from that insurance policies are also using the value of your automobile, so the higher priced it is, then the higher the particular premium you spend.
