Crisp rice crepes stuffed with a savory mix of sweet potatoes and peas area a favorite in my home. My Sunday Supper team is doing a ” breakfast for dinner ” theme and I made my rice crepes with sweet potatoes. Since my gluten-free rice crepes or masala dosas are easy to make, I often make them for dinner. I usually make a pot of batter over the weekend and store it in the fridge to use through the week. I made these rice crepes a little different from my usual rice crepes. I swapped the lentil or white urad dal with almonds. It came out really good and the almonds add a nice dose of healthy fat to the dish. Rice crepes are easy to make and if you want to see a step by step tutorial to making rice crepes, click here. Biting into a rice crepe with sweet potato filling is yummy. Pair it with some mint chutney or jelly !

I loooooove the filling. I’m drooling over here!
Sue, I totally have to try these crepes! I made an amazing filling awhile back, but the gluten free crepes I made were terrible. I bet the almond would also lend it towards sweet fruit fillings too.
That filling is everything I love… except maybe garlic! I’d be throwing in a clove or two 🙂
These look so good. I love the way you make the crepes – I can imagine how crunchy they must be. Pinning this one for later!
Mmmmm…such a healthy crepe! I’d love to sample your rice version!!!
The sweet potato and pea combo for filling these crepes sounds fantastic!
Your recipes brings to mind samosas, but off course much healthier, which is what I love about your blog…now if I could just motivate myself to cook more! Great looking recipes, and I KNOW it’s delicious!
That filling looks incredible! I’m a huge fan of savory crepes and this one gets two thumbs up!
Oh my – the filling in these crepes sounds absolutely amazing!
Thank you Sue! Crepes are just too hard to resist. One can try out various kind of fillings for these- be it sweet or salty. But the actual thing is to make sure the combinations used in these complement one another or else the recipe will be just a fail experiment. But I will try this out for sure!!
Your crepes look perfect, Sue! I haven’t had the best of luck making them but now I’m on a mission so that I can make this delicious dish! I adore sweet potato and can easily see myself inhaling these.
This looks really delicious. I haven’t tried almond rice crepes and I surely wanna try this over the weekend.
These look amazing! I keep a stash of Amy’s gluten-free Aloo Mattar wraps in my freezer for an easy lunch, but I would love to try making these sweet potato stuffed rice crepes-yum! As, I have found a yummy “Spicy Jalapeño” sauce that would be delicious with these. Happy Sunday 🙂
ooh make them at home. You’ll love them. I fill them up with so many things, sweet and savory. It’s the easiest most popular dinner in my home. I would love to try yr sauce if you have the recipe:)
